Canadian micro hockey stick e-clip tool?

Theres an e clip tool available on Amazon Bill......but it dont look like that one

 

We use to get them from typewriter supply stores. However that was 4 or 5 decades ago! When I worked at NCR in the 70's the cash registers were full on many size C/E clips. SnoKing

 

Maybe since they are called canadian I should inquire with canada about them. Being I have a canadian Bd diesel transmission maybe they've got them. Stay tuned .....

 

I think typewriters are gone in Canada also!

 

Lol... go figure but hey you never know. I will inquire Bd about it. I recently contacted them about my 12 yr old transmission that has a stripped out drain plug and they had the plug for a measly $2.12. If they got them I'll buy a small supply and if anyone who's reading this wants one they can let me know while supplies last.

 

This is the closest I could find on ebay. it doesn't have the offset (bend though).

I had no idea such a tool existed, nor how it got it's name. It sure would cut down on the swearing, and stock of spare clips though.

I may have to get one. Eye sight isn't what it used to be.
