Does anyone know what Ford type rear wheel brake cylinders which are bigger that you can use to replace stock ones in my 2001. I used them before in my 95 12 valve but forgot the # or Ford type model they were for ?

I used Chevrolet/GMC 1 ton brake cylinders, if I recall correctly. They may have been 1-1/2 ton cylinders. The brakes are made by Delco, so there is a lot of interchangeability. The result was better braking. I kept expecting rear wheel lockup or weirdness on wet pavement, but it never happened. As always, braking was better with at least a light load on board.

If I was doing it again, I would use cylinders that Iron Duke linked.

On my 98 I did the 1 3/16" wheel cylinders and also removed the proportioning valve. There is an OE replacement hose for the valve. Big improvement!
