My 2500 shortbed came with a Ram under rail bedliner from the dealer. I'm getting ready to install a 5th wheel hitch.

My wife has a 2017 1500 shortbed. I wonder if the liner from my 2500 will fit? I think they are both 6.2 ft bed.

Apparently I can't edit my posts. autocorrect got me!

Under RAIL. Though under tail would be a big seller I bet.

Hi, as long as hers is not a 5.x' bed, the liner will fit fine. I had a short term EcoDiesel between my 04.5 2500 and 2014 3500 and I used the same extang tonneau cover on the 2015 1500 and my current 2014 3500 short beds. Both the 2015 and 2014 are the 6.x box and my bedmat also transferred between them no problems.

I would never put one of those plastic liners in a bed again. I did that once on a 96 and had to remove it within a year for some reason. When removed I had some of the nicest polished sheet metal on the planet, no paint but plenty of shiny metal. It was not a real problem for rust in Az. but could be a problem in some areas.

It needed to come out last night so I could plan for my 5th wheel hitch install.. Fits the 1500 like a glove! Wife is happy.
    Happy wife, happy life!

I'll replace it with LineX I think. Been seeing some really bad reviews on rhinoliner. I guess I should probably get the liner sprayed in before I do the hitch install.

+1 for LineX - had it in my 2004.5 2500 and it was GREAT! Durable, tough, resisted fade. If the new one had not come with the factory spray-in liner, it would have been getting LineX!

I have had the Linex since the truck was new and still there. Yes you want it in before the hitch install.

Yep, I'll cast my lot with the Linex anytime, every time. Years ago on other trucks I've had the rubber mat. It protected the bed and kept stuff from sliding around. I really, really don't like sliders.
