I installed a Westech fuel pressure gauge on my 01 about 9 mos. ago. Everything went fine and it was working well. 14-15 psi at idle 12-13psi at cruise and 10 psi at wot.

Recently I noticed that it has been pegged at 16 psi. Sometimes it sticks as well. I also noticed that it doesn't come down much from 16psi even under full throttle.

Not sure if there is a problem w/ the sender or the guage. I'm pretty sure that the pump isn't pushing those kind of pressures.

    TIA.

Turns out that it has something to do w/ the lights being on. When the the lights are on it sends some power to the gauge, to engage the light, but it also makes the gauge read about 3 psi higher. So it works normal w/o the lights on.
