Currently using the Amsoil bypass system with the EaBP 100 filter. Thinking of going to a filter that is a WIX or Fleetguard cross over. What would be the penalty?

Just use the Fleetguard, you can not go wrong with it. Snoking

If you are looking for an alternative to the EaBp 100 I'm not aware of one. It is designed to be a bypass filter and takes oil at a much slower rate than a full flow. It's filtering efficiency is rated 98.7% @ 2 micron, no full flow filter will come close to that. The Donaldson DBL7349 for example, one of the best full flow filters you can buy for the Cummins, is rated at 99% @ 15 mic.
