Wife and I this week fabricated another air bag protector out of rough cut 2x10s in oak. 20180220_074418.jpg #ad

I’m a bit lost, forgive me, why? Do you have a lot of loose items in your bed that pose a threat to the air bags? Your bed seems clean and uncluttered, so I’m not sure why this is needed.

I do really like your catcher that you have in case the jaws fail on the fifth wheel. That’s awesome!

I had that hitch installed on my Pete 387 I used to pull my toyhauler. Was a great hitch.

It is clean because I have just cleaned it out and reinstalled the rubber liner. When we go camping we haul firewood. Is easy to let a piece of firewood come in contact with a bag. Also when I load shovels, rakes and other pointy tools and sliding them into the bed it has come close to hitting a back. Just a pound of cure.
