Ok folks I searched shocks and nothing new out there so here goes. What is the shock of choice these days for an 04 Quad 2wd 2500? I think I blew the right front shock this week. If I hit a rise in the road the right front seems to bottom out. I am leaning towards the Yellow/Blue 186063 front/ 186087 rear Bilsteins. I found them for $67. 99 @ shockwarehouse.com. Also is there a better quality bump stop for the front end? Thanks for the help Fred

The Bilsteins are good for most street drivers. If you blow through the bilstein shocks and hit the bumps you are driving too fast for the suspension

I agree... Bilsteins are the way to go. If you blow through them, you need to slow down a little, or go to a bigger Bilstein shock :)
