I am in the market for a good single disk, billet front torque converter. Any suggestions? Please keep in mind that I don't have unlimited funds, so I am looking for the most bang for the buck. I would like to lower the stall speed to 1400 to 1500 rpm. Thanks

I really like my Goerend. I’ve also heard great things about DPC.

BD Diesel, i like mine, enhanced stall for me.

But please read into it first, there are many pros and cons on low stall.
Not that you end up with a dog, barely beable to move from a dead stop.
Enough storys out there people re-stall their converter after some time.

I had a DTT 89% torque converter and the only down side was off roading and running in low range, as the power almost over rides the brakes at idle. We went down the Schafer Hill at Moab and I had to take it out of gear to do the switch backs. When I rebuilt the transmission the second time stall speed was way to high and they had to pull the transfer case and transmission a second time and put a lower stall speed TC in it. The OEM one is a joke for a diesel engine.
