    Yea my truck is an 04. Did that. I never addresses it. Never been a problem

    There was a tsb on the door seal that they would replace them.

    Dodge TSB 23-008-04

    I bought my truck brand new in 04. That seal split after the first year. I never replaced it. I heard the TSB fix also split. It was just a bad design. When you open the door the corner pulls and rubs it till it splits. Never been an issue. My bad seal is 17 years old.

    It is a TSB and not a recall....

    And yes I changed my door seals for exactly that reason 10 years ago. Still in perfect shape.
    Same applies for the lower outer door seals, there is an upgraded version to.
