Need help with air leak (BD Turboguard)

I have a BD Turboguard installed and for the second time (but different location) it is leaking air. Tested with a boost leak tester. There is an air hose going from the mainfold to the control module (which I replaced a few years back due to an air leak). Both ends of the air hose are leaking (see pics). I have tried tightening the bolts down but it only seems to make the leak worse. Can someone help me with what type of fittings these might be and how to fix? Thanks in advance.

Yes I know, its the cheap fittings. Yours are not certified for heat and vibration, same with probably the air line. What you need are brass connectors and hose, both DOT/SAE certified.

Install needs the line to be cut at a right angle with a cutter knife - not pliers.
The line needs to be pushed hard into the connectors and pulled on to check for holding.

I know it would be a pain to bend, but what about using copper or NICU tubing? just wondering since it seems like a "sharkbite" connector which works with pex, pvc and copper. JM2C.

Not a SharkBite but similar concept... it's a push-to-connect that can be connected and removed easily. If the OP is using metric tubing with SAE fittings, or vice versa, that can cause leaks. I'm inclined to agree with Ozy about the "cheap" fittings.

 

The tubing that is there now is original from the install and I assume came as part of the kit. I ordered the parts Ozy recommended and will install whey they get here and will report back.
Thanks to all that responded! Very much appreciate the help. On the positive side, there were no other air leaks from the original connectors/boots.

 

New air line and fittings installed. Ozy, I had to use a 1/8" NPT vs the 1/4" but got them from the same company (but not brass - could not find brass). I cut the new airline with a tube cutter to get a square as possible. Will try the leak tester this weekend and let you know. Thanks all.

S... did I provide 1/4"? That wasn't the idea. You know, I'm metric... take that as an excuse.
