And they have no parts, from what I was told, so if you take it in they will simply remove your step.

They will just weld it. We all know they have highly trained welders at every dealership. I offer the V06 welds at evidence, not!

Considering that the article states that the recall won't begin until 29MAY I am not surprised at all that there are no parts.

I'll bed FCA wishes they had just bought a whole bunch of AMP Bed Steps!!!!

The AMP bed step that mounts to the front side of the bed is WORTHLESS!!! Ny Dad bought one for his 12 DRW and returned because it was hard to reach into toolbox with lid up and impossible to reach the 5er hitch.

So that is why I created the BEST bed step on the market. I can easily reach my B&W hitch handle and reach into my HighwayProducts bed height 30" front to back tool box.

I have the Amp side step, and I agree I can't reach my hitch, etc. It does allow me to reach my "old man step stool" so I can climb over the side to hitch up, so it's not a total loss, and I don't have to crawl in from the tailgate. Another reason I would love to have a hauler bed instead of the pickup box.

I had him bend the step, that's it. I have one setting in my shop for a 13-14 up and one i took off my dad's 12 DRW.

I am an inch shorter now, however I can still reach things, including the little folding step that rides in the left front corner of the truck bed! Oh, and I have put on some weight!

Picture is from late summer 1966, at the Sattahip, Thailand USCG Loran C station. I was a member of the construction detachment that built it, as in we installed all of the electronic equipment simultaneously as Chicago Bridge and Iron constructed the buildings around us.

I climbed the 625' tower "hot" to take pictures. As in the transmitter were shutdown for a few seconds while I mounted the tower and again when I dismounted. Later a brave engineer decided one could mount a live towers via a fiberglass ladder. Final amps ran at 15,500 volts with 350-400kw of power.
