P/N 82213487AC, $114, from local dealer, came pkg'd with black metal clips too long to fit into window frame.
I decided to go with Mopar, 'cause it was reported to me by OEM Dlr. that some issues arose using the Weather Tech channel insert style, as their flange design was a bit too thick & often impaired window operation. Deciding not to gamble with $100, I placed my trust in Mopar.

I'm visiting local dlr. Mon. for followup or refund.

Anyone care to suggest another deflector you like for your 2018 2500 Crew Cab? Thanks.

I’ve never had a Mopar accessory for my trucks not fit. Did they give you the wrong item or was it possibly mispackaged?

I nave AVP on my 2006 and 2018. on the 18 the window will sometimes reverse on closing. Doesn't happen often but close sensitivity seems higher on the 18.

I have AVP on both my 2017 Ram 5500 and my wife's 2019 Ram 1500, no problems. Installation was a little tricky on the 2019, but once done, no issues with obstruction.

    Cheers, Ron

Update: Dlr reports that the "squiggly" image on the instr sheet refers to the weatherstripping within the upper door frame that has to be pulled down to install the black metal clips! No doubt the instruction sheet avail to mechanics are a bit more explicit, eh.

Now it's 40deg & the closest we get to the min. 60 deg for the adhesives, is 54deg Wed. Always something. Thanks for your help.

I can post pics of the instructions if anyone is interested, otherwise I'll proceed to hookup an IV for Jeep's partially plugged heater core; figure on using CLR [Calcium Lime Rust remover].
