Just purchased an ‘04 3500 Laramie with 100K and the Overhead display goes blank when the lights are turned on.
I tried the search but found nothing. Has anyone else had this problem? I’m not sure where to start.

Step 1: Have you tried adjusting the dash light illumination switch? If it is turned down the display will dim.

Thank’s for the heads up Bruce, I have not tried that. I’ll give it a try!

Doh! This was so easy I feel like a dumb A$$. Not sure why I always look for the most complicated solutions first.

    Thank’s Bruce!

 Some of us may have had an experiencing moment in life...just passing it on. :D
Glad it was simple and did not have to move into the more involved steps.
KISS principle fixes more things quicker...;)

I tell my students all the time. Try the easy (and usually free) stuff first.

However you would have figured it out the first time you drove it at night.
