    I'm thinking very hard about getting a 2002. I've found one that the dealer will sell at invoice. My question is what is the current rebate? I thought it was $3000 plus the $500 e-incentive thing.

    He says $2500 plus the e-incentive.

    Does anyone know the answer?

    Also, can the travel computer be added. This truck has everything I want except for the travel computer.

    The only reason I'm thinking about trading is to get away from the automatic. Looking at HO with 6 speed.

    Thanks,

    Bobby

    The dodge web site said $3000 rebate. It didn't break it down. It showed the e-bate there also. If the dealer wants to sell it bad enough he will give you the $3000 + the $500. Don't know about the computer. Jeff

    MSRP = 37,525

    Invoice = 33,722

    I rechecked the web site, Rams have $2500 rebate plus $500 internet rebate.

    33,722 - 3,000 = 30,722 plus tax, tag and doc fees.

    Truck is 4x4, 2500, Long bed, 6 speed HO, SLT, light group, trailer tow, camper special, anti-spin axle, rear sliding window, keyless remote, power seat, fog lamps, air dam, CD radio with 6 speaker infinity.

    I'm just not sure about the Light Almond color, but this is the only one I can find with the options I want.

    Anyone have an idea what dealer cost on an exhaust brake would be? I might get him to throw that in at his cost plus the hood liner.

    Thanks,

    Bobby

    You should not pay more than $30,000 for that truck. Ask around, many on here paid even less than that for theirs. Don't worry about the invoice price, the dealer will still be making plenty.

    Adding a fatory computer will probably be very expensive if you are getting the parts from the "stealer". They seem to be close to accurate when the truck is in stock form. Mine runs about two tenths low consistantly. From what I have seen in the forums is that they become very inaccurate when any "bombing" is done.
