Im troubleshooting the P2127 and P2121 issue that has started happening pretty frequently in cold weather. Started looking for an APPS in case I need one and found out Dodge has stopped making them. There are a few still around here and there across the country. Dodge part is $334. Several after market ones run $203 and $279. Is Dodge OEM worth the extra cost?

Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor. I'll bet the aftermarket ones work as well, but its human nature to want the best and we usually assume the OEM part is better.

The one from RockAuto carries a 3/36K warranty for $203.79 and I'm sure the OEM is 1/12K at most. But your truck, your choice!

I bought the one from Rock auto. Seemed like the best price and they have a good reputation. When I checked at my local dealer about a week ago he said there were only 3 OEM units nation wide a ndyou hade to call that dealer to purchace one.

Not all parts are created equal. I had mixed results with Aftermarket parts, some are great and work like OEM, some clearly not even looking identical from the outside.
Transmission range sensor is one of them that is clearly not up to the OEM quality.
Another one that was great in the beginning was the West TPS for my 04.5 that delivered solid results for 80K and then failed because it is to sensitive and together with my worn out throttle body produces DTCs. A Timbo then solved that issue.
