    Looking for ideas.

The truck is having some crazy electrical issues. Sometimes it will not crank but accessories come on. When I remove the key the engine will shut off but all of the electrical will stay on, I have to disconnect the batteries. While driving the gauge cluster will die or freeze. While driving the cluster will chime and the airbag light will illuminate. These are all intermittent problems and do not always happen.

The truck has been to three dealers and a independent shop who has the Chrysler computer.

    First Dealer:
1st trip. cleaned battery terminals and updated PCM.
2nd Trip. Replaced key control module and clock spring.
    3rd trip. replaced instrument cluster.

    2nd Dealer:
Replaced one of the connectors to the TIPM.

    3rd Dealer:
Could not replicate symptoms and could not find anything wrong.

    Independent Shop:
    Replaced batteries and cables.
    Inspected all grounds.
    Replaced Cluster again.
Replaced TIPM (Did not fix so put old one back in).
Says when it acts up that none of the modules are talking.
Unplugged each module one at a time to try and restore communication but no luck.

    Any help would be appreciated.

If the key doesn't;t shut the electrical accessories off, going to have to say that there is a contact and/or ground problem in the ignition switch and/or switch harness itself. There have been cases of the switch wires eventually getting pinched by the tilt of the steering wheel.
