Used the 6400D system cleaner last tank and now have the 6500 fuel additive in the current tank and so far I'm very happy with it...

Why should one use that if there is a Cummins approved alternative available?

So far based on several other trucks including mine its has helped slow DPF soot build up and reduced forced DPF regens..

I’m in the same boat as 06 Dodge. Passive regen using archoil is much easier to achieve during my daily hwy commute to and from work, when not towing. Not sure about a bunch of short trips and soot loading, I only do that on occasion, a majority of my miles are hwy. I used the cleaner first before switching to the daily treatment. I use the regular dose, not the performance dose. MPGs are of little concern to me, my concern was the soot loading, which it has helped with. YMMV.

I say give it a shot, start with the cleaner then use the daily. I’ve had good success extending time between auto regeneration using it.

During the last 20 engine hours my truck has only traveled 523 miles an to my surprise the DPF has only risen to 12.5% and stayed there for the past 5 engine hours without a forced regen, that is some thing it has never done without max weight in the bed, so for me the Archoil is doing what it claims to help reduce soot in DPF and I hope it keeps doing what it has so far only time will tell...
