My 96 2500 (~219K miles) shows some erratic tach operation for the 1st 15 to 30 min of running. I notice during this time that use of brake drops the tach to near zero. Could this mean a problem w/vacuum pump? How does that affect the tach guage. Local dlr svc mgr doesn't have a suggestion. After a ~1 1/2 run last week, the truck ran fine coming home. ???
Hi Gitchesum, The FAQ says ineed to contact a moderator to change a thead title/heading. My thread "Lift Pump Threads" should probably read "12V Lift Pump Fittings", so people can get the actual question being asked. Can you fix this, or maybe kill the thread? Thanks, DieselJake
