Good morning Mike, thank you for the news letter. I am interested in anything diesel powered, actually anything mechanical. I have been out of the big truck scene for so long I always read your posts for current news in the big truck world. Do you sell medium dutys too?

What was the frame size on the truck that was bent? Most of my trucks had alluminum frames. I had very little ever go wrong with them. I did have a Mack with a double steel frame, two 1/4 inch rails I think and one IHC with a single 5/16 and a Pete with a single 3/8 frame.

I see trucks all the time being transported "piggy back" and was not aware the frame needed extra support for this. Which one of the several transported bent? I would think the tow truck of the bunch would have the "tow riggin" mounted over the axles so it was probably fine.

Thanks again for the news letter Mike, I look forward to the next one!

PS: I hope this works....****..... my letter is too long...Lol

Hello, sorry for the late reply. (still a newbie to the forum).
Did those old Mack trucks you used to have, have the 2 stick transmissions? When I worked at a construction site, I drove those 2 stick transmission dump trucks. I was pretty good at those as my 1974 John Deere 2130 tractor has 2 sticks as well. Makes for a fun drive! :D

      Hi Brian,
You should be able to go to any truck dealer in your area, or the Cummins Distributor.
Where in the country are you??? Let me know and will point you in the right direction.
      Mike.

Hey, I saw your post about leaking coolant hose/clamps. I am new to the forum and Diesels but I noted your part numbers
      Hose 4939438
      Clamps 4930327 (2 req.)

Do you have an online place where I can find the Cummins parts? The dealer here wants $35 for the Mopar versions.

thanks in advance and thanks for the post,
      Brian
