Born and raised in the KC metropolitan area, still living here with my wife and two kids. I got my interest in mechanical things from my dad and grandfather, both of whom are/were mechanics by trade or at least during war time. Until my son came along in 2016, I did almost all repairs to all my vehicles and tractors, just short of engine machine work. I studied at the University of Missouri and upon graduation entered the field of industrial refrigeration (meat packing plants, etc.) I left there for 7 years to round out my experience, working on the engineering teams for large capital improvement projects for big food companies (potatoes, cereal, and ice cream, mostly). Now I'm back at it again helping to safely turn pigs into bacon.

When not mowing my land, fixing my equipment, or working for "the man", I enjoy brewing beer and barbecuing. I don't follow sports but did love to play them when younger. I have a small shop 30 miles away, and miss spending time there.
